Passion's Spring Demo Event, March 14 and 15

Posted by Charles on March 11, 2015

The week leading up to St Patrick’s Day is our big Spring season kickoff, and the Demo marks the first full weekend of Daylight Savings Time! Santa Cruz, Ibis, and Juliana Bicycles are all returning with their demo fleets and techs for a weekend filled with good rides on great bikes! This year we are also quite excited to have the new additions of Intense Cycles and Ritchey bringing our bling count to over 100 shiny new bikes! Our most Passionate will be leading rides on both days that weekend at 9:00, 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00, and you will be able to reserve specific bikes for your choice of ride or rides. All rides start and end at Passion, and you can follow one of our leaders, or take off on your favorite test loop. Transition back at the shop with the refreshments we provide, or hang out and chat with the reps and fellow riders.

To reserve your bike, run over to our reservation link to see which bikes are available at what times, and then shoot an email off to us with the following preferences:

Bike Model and Number:
Bike Size:
Ride Time:
Ride Day:
Pedals: SPD or Flats or your own?

Rider’s Cell Phone Number:
Rider’s email address:

Ladies, we’ll expect to see you twice this weekend. Kathy Pruitt will be bringing us an amazing array of women’s specific Juliana bikes to play with all day Saturday, but Saturday only, and on Sunday, Pam James will be leading a ride for ladies only. Pam is super fun, a great and patient rider, and will guarantee you a good time. Her ladies ride will be a casual pace, perfect for those new to Waterdog or relatively new to mountain biking. Feel most welcome to join her either on your own bike, or one of the demo bikes. The Ladies Ride rolls out at 11:00 on Sunday.

Allison Reynolds, owner and massage therapist at Arbor Vitae Massage and Bodywork, will be out at the Event both days tuning up your body in between rides. Whether you have a bit of fatigue after your demo, or you come back with a minor injury, she will be there to help you out.

Also, please shoot me a note at Charles@PassionTrailBikes.com to let me know if you would like to volunteer at our event. We currently need help with food prep and service, pedal removal and swapping, and at the registration table day of the event.
