The much loved & ever popular Wednesday afternoon rides from Passion Trail Bikes to Water Dog Lake and surrounding trails are starting up. And, thanks to the early change to daylight’s savings time, the first ride is tonight!
For the first few weeks, we’ll be departing Passion at 5:30PM, so be prompt as we’ll have limited daylight to play in. We time them so that no lights should be needed, but a rear blinkie is always a good idea. After the ride, we will retire to the Lounge for the usual refreshments & ride rehash.
Of course – helmets are required just in case you decide to act like the chap in the picture!
As the season progresses, and sunset gets later, we will incrementally move the start time forward until we hit 7PM, then reverse that process around the first of August. To get info about the specific time for each week (and for other rides and events), you should get on our customer email list.
Come on out and enjoy the ride…
A separate issue…
Passion is hiring. If you know someone who is interested in working here, send them our way. Will train.

Over 30 demo bikes and awesome weather. Made for lots of smiling faces.
We had 3 lead group rides on the weekend, and a bunch of people who took bikes out on their own at other times. Seemed like around every turn at Waterdog or DMC you’d see another person on a demo ride.
Special thanks to JayB, JohnH, JustineM, DaveO, and BeckyG for leading rides!
Below are some pics from the rides…

The person who best represented the theme of our Luau party was Michael Perez. The hula skirt was a daring touch, and thankfully he didn’t try a hula dance as I don’t think the skirt would have given quite enough coverage…
He left before we were able to give him his award (a hat and a gift certificate), so he doesn’t know he is the winner yet. So, Michael, if you read this – you won!
Many of the attendees wore appropriate Hawaii themed clothing. Here are a few pics of other folks and the event…
